Carnivall Water And Land Of excitement Theme Park Sungai Petani
The Carnivall Water and Land theme park is located within the grounds of the Cinta Sayang Golf and Country Resort at Sungai Petani in Kedah state. The Carnivall is the only water and land theme park in Kedah and it is a hugely popular attraction for the local population.
The Carnivall Water Park is home to all the usual suspects when it comes to water park rides, you can float along the river of adventure for 300 metres on an inner tube or enjoy the twists and turns on the many varied water slides available within the park.
The high tower water coaster is the most adrenalin pumping water ride here that produces some high pitched screams as happy participants thunder down the slide and into the landing pool.
The longest water ride is the carnivall curve where only one person at a time is allowed to enter the flumes and they must go feet first.
Children can enjoy hours of fun in the jungle playground, discovery island, the bubble spa, the sandpit and kiddies cove where there are mini slides together with various water activities they can pursue.
The Carnivall is not just limited to water park rides as there are many land based activities to entertain the whole family.
There is an adrenaline pumping family bungee for the extreme sport devotees while those that wish to hone their paintball sharp shooting skills can use the paintball firing range where a perfect score wins them a hamper.
Once sure of your shooting skills you can become a wannabe soldier by heading over to the Paintball park for the real thing. There is a climbing wall for the active of limb to ascend but at my age I'd rather suck on a sweet ice cream and marvel at the young as they enjoy assailing the vertical wall to the top in rapid time.

The Carnivall Water Park provide changing facilities, toilets, lockers, showers, food outlets to all entrants into the park, although it must be noted that outside food is not allowed into the park.
Sitting in its seven hectare site, the Carnivall Water Park may not be on the grand scale of similar water parks in Selangor, but as it is the only water park in Kedah and with a catchment area including the closeby state of Penang it will remain a highly popular entertainment venue for all the family.
