Bentley Music Academy
Malaysias' first ever art auction organised by Henry Butcher Art Auctioneers took place in August 2010 at the Bentley Music Building in Petaling Jaya. Featuring various paintings by prominent Malaysian artists such as Dato Ibrahim Hussein’s 1969 painting ‘The Dream’, Dato’ Chuah Thean Teng’s ‘Two Cockerels and a Hen’, and Yee I-Lann’s ‘Dr Farish A Noor - The Other Malaysia’ this was a landmark event in the Selangor art scene.
The Bentley Music Building, as the name suggests, is a building devoted to music that is home to the 300 seat Bentley Music Auditorium that is considered one of the finest acoustically tuned concert halls in Malaysia.
